On the XL, STX, and XLT models, the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine delivers 325 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 400 pound-feet of torque at 3,000 rpm. The XL through LARIAT trims come with the 5.0-liter V-8, which provides 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. The 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine produces 400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque and is available on select variants. The Raptor's exclusive High-Output 5.2-liter supercharged V-8 delivers 720 horsepower at 6,650 rpm and 640 pound-feet at 4,250 rpm. All engines use a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
When the F-150 is equipped with the SuperCrew 6.5-inch box, four-wheel drive, and the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6, it can tow up to 13,500 pounds. Equipping the Regular Cab 8-inch box, rear-wheel drive, and the same 3.5-liter engine manages 2,440 pounds for hauling, while the 5.0-liter V-8 handles 2,225 pounds. Ford's terrain management system offers drive modes for all conditions: Normal, ECO, Sport, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Deep Snow/Sand, and Rock Crawl.
