Two Strong Engines

The 2025 Expedition offers four trim levels (Active, Tremor, King Ranch, and Platinum) to meet different needs. The base trim level, Active, comes with a 400-horsepower 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 under the hood, enough power to impress most drivers. Taking power up a notch is the next engine, a 440-horsepower high-output variant of the same engine, which comes with Tremor and King Ranch trims. Both engines pair with a quiet-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission.

Off-Road Capabilities

While other SUVs may have conventional 4×4 systems, this one has Intelligent 4WD, which calibrates itself automatically to different surfaces when it detects changes. This system is complemented by a multimode terrain management system. The off-road-ready Tremor trim, the most rugged in the lineup, comes with 33-inch all-terrain tires, an electronic-locking differential for improved traction, and Rock Crawl Mode, a feature that optimizes the vehicle for uneven terrains.

Stylish Yet Rugged

Both stylish and rugged outside, this SUV has a wide array of standout and subtle paint color options available, with standouts like Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat, Space Silver Metallic, and Stone Blue Metallic. The optional Ford Split Gate makes loading items into the vehicle easier with its multiple functions and two levels for supporting cargo, while heated side mirrors, an acoustic-laminated windshield, running boards, roof-rack side rails and many other convenience features come standard.

An Upscale Interior

Seating up to eight passengers, this edition’s three-row cabin has tri-zone electronic automatic temperature control, rear auxiliary manual climate controls, and a cabin particulate air filter to make journeys more comfortable for everyone. While multiple seating configurations are available, the base trim comes with a power-reclining third-row bench seat, a 40/20/40 split-folding manual-reclining second-row bench seat, a 10-way power driver’s with power lumbar support and power recline, and an eight-way passenger’s seat with the same.

First-Class Technology

Standard tech highlights that come with this SUV include the Ford Digital Experience infotainment system with 13.2-inch display, a massive 24-inch panoramic instrument panel display, and SiriusXM Radio with 360L. The FordPass Connect with 5G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot, also standard, works with up to 10 devices simultaneously when you’ve opted for an internet data plan. Many driver-assist features come standard as well, with highlights like BLIS (Blind Spot Information System), Lane-Keeping System, and Auto High-Beam Headlamps to name a few.
